|Tech Tip: Opening a new kate buffer in a new window

a text editor that I sometimes prefer to use. Normally, saying
kate [optional file path here] from the command line opens
a new buffer as a new tab in an existing window. However, one can instruct
it to open in a new window using the
-n command line flag.
